I’ve always found Adobe’s products pretty keen, up until they decided that they should cater more to their 40% user base (Windows) than their predominate one (Mac OS)—since CS, everything has been heading for the toilet of “No, we can’t fix that bug; but look over here at “what we can do”! Even at the special rate for the disabled, I can’t start to justify this price gouging. And the “monthly” rental fee is just silly.
Let me use Photoshop on demand for a reasonable price (as in, $1 a day), and Illustrator for $5 a month. And pay me a buck a day for each time I use InDesign or [spits] Premier.
It’s so sad to see a company once great apparently taken over by those who just want to milk a cash cow ‘till it’s tits squeak.
