Okay, I bastardized Mr. Paxton’s lyrics in the previous post, but it has been many years, and I was quite young in those days, listening to Beaker Street I believe, when I first heard the song, probably early 1966.

Here is the real song, the way it was meant to be heard. The music starts at the 50 sec. mark.

The interviewer sitting with his chin in his hands looking like a rapt schoolgirl is, however, creepy…
