She invented the usual fictitious black mugger who somehow carved a backwards “B” on her cheek, hoping it would serve as her ticket to martyrdom and at the same time become the ultimate McCain/Palin sticker. But her people only cut deep when it is another’s face they carve; she got it backwards, and far too shallow.

This, my friends, is what happens when you allow people to martyr themselves, even (especially?) when the case they plead is pure fiction. The burst prophylactic of Joe the Plumber, flooding everywhere. You can almost feel the need: I want exposure! I want to be on TV! I want to make money! No-one will actually check into this bullshit will they?

But will the right wing zealots care that this was nonsense? Heck no. Barrack is still a Muslim, ACORN is still trying to steal the election, and Joe Biden loves interracial man-on-man sex.
