I tired of Rooney’s rants very quickly. He was probably the reason I quit watching ‘60 Minutes’ when I was a much younger man.

He was pre-deceased by his wife of 62 years

Is this use of “pre-deceased” new, or am I just getting annoyed by it now for no real reason?

He was also was pre-deceased by his sister, Nancy.

“Is it ‘was also’ or ‘also was’? Ah, fuck it, use both. One’s bound to be right.
