Odd, about five years ago San Jose had a trash/recyclable system in place where you put all your stuff in one big bin and it would be automagically separated at it’s destination: did they move forward in time and then bring the technology back on the hush hush?

They need to put one of these every 4 blocks in every major city. They could eliminate waste collection! And generate energy!

/Why didn’t this article use the term “boffins”? Dang it.

It powers itself and there is enough green electricity left over to put back into the national grid - and it could ensure we reach recycling targets.
