11:34 AM | | I forgot that, too busy watching Al Jazeera. But they’re so cheerful in the morning, and i really like their 3-D weather forecasts.

01:20 PM | | This asshat was always so astute, if I recall. Google finds ancient Brit Hume comments regarding powerful 80486 processors. At the time this was published, and Brit kept writing columns like this, every geek knew that the world wasn’t going to just keep their 80386s and sit idle. More power was just around the corner that would finally make microcomputers actually useful to the ordinary Joe. Conservative in politics and tech, to the core.
Although I couldn’t find it, he also wrote articles crying over the move to 16-bit architectures, and moaning over the needless march to better and more expensive graphics cards when EGA was just fine.

08:35 PM | | As soon as I heard that I could do whatever I wanted and get away with it as long as I turned to Jesus, I was -right there-. And all future sins were covered too? Hell, I didn’t need Billy Mays to sell me on that!

08:46 PM | | Yeah, right? I get to do ANYTHING and I’m covered? Blue Cross/Blue Shield sure as hell won’t.

Provided you make a satisfactory contribution to the coffers of the guy who hands out your local messages from the invisible magician in the sky.

09:37 AM | | And don’t forget that my invisible magician is better than your invisible magician, and is, in fact, the only way to get eternal pizza.

03:42 PM | | Just in case I do the sign of the cross whenever I see an ambulance. I think that covers me, right?

None of you people are covered. None. You’re all on the afterlife bubble. That bubble is made of a slippery soapy film of indeterminate composition. Govern yourselves accordingly.
