The AP put out the concede story.

03:44 PM | | I don’t see what the big deal is about having this go to the Convention. Other than MSNBC, with Chris Matthews and Olbermann leading the charge for Obama, who really cares whether this goes to the Convention undecided?

04:28 PM | | People who think that Democrats should spend this time campaigning against, I don’t know, maybe a Republican?

06:15 PM | | Plenty of time. Besides, McCain is screwing it up all by himself.
The bigger harm will come if Obama is anointed and the Hillary supporters stay home for the general election.

06:43 PM | | And now the shitfest gets interesting. Mn Gov. Tim Pawlenty (on McCain’s VP shortlist) wants Hillary’s backers to join the Dark Side.
Any other GOP (Grand Oil Party) Politicos making similar pleas across America?

Even if that’s true (and it probably is) the Obama and Clinton (and Edwards) campaigns have never stooped to saying why they’d be better than McCain (How about “I won’t vote McCain/I’m not insane") or any other republican—instead they’ve been fighting between themselves over, franks, prattle while the opposition gets to harness funds and wait till it’s really important.
McCain’s screw-ups are nothing compared to Bush in ‘04: but still, Bush got elected. You REALLY think you won’t get fooled again?
IMSHO, the Democrats should withdraw from the Presidential elections, be happy with taking over the house and senate with large majorities, but leave the Republican shitheads who’ve driven us into two unwinnable actual wars, two or more unwinnable “concept” wars, a failing economy, no civil rights, and all the rest of it. Whoever the Presidency this year is one unlucky son-of-a-bitch.

The people you’re talking about? They’re stupid fools. And I think they’re a lot like the Honorable Doctor Congressman Bircher Klanfoil’s supporters in that there’s not many of them but they make a disproportionate racket on the internet. I can’t worry about what stupid fools might do.

That would be for the best.

10:33 AM | | Maybe. But you haven’t seen the BS put out by the Obama-ites against Hillary that I have. It was worse than what the NeoCons put out and that includes the “How do we beat that bitch?” crowd.
/Of course, Obama stays above it all, mumbling something about “Change” and staring wistfully off into the distance.

02:06 PM | | "Maybe. But you haven’t seen the BS put out by the Obama-ites against Hillary that I have."
You’re right. I have seen endless oblique references to such. For months. But indeed I haven’t seen the BS itself.
‘It was worse than what the NeoCons put out and that includes the “How do we beat that bitch?”’
That’s because the NeoCons weren’t yet running against her. Obama was.
"/Of course, Obama stays above it all, mumbling something about “Change” and staring wistfully off into the distance."
What? A politician running for national office coming off as greasy and slick? I’m shocked.

02:09 PM | | (And I notice Clinton has stayed immaculately above the fray while her most rabid supporters pledge to work to elect the Republican if they get their poor feelers hurted.)
