Last night was the first time I saw an ep. Didn’t see the whole thing, but I did see enough to notice that these are some fugly ‘models’. I mean I’d heard that from you guys before, but seeing is believing.
I liked Heather and Saleisha’s pics. Overall the concept looks ripped off from a British Vogue editorial from a couple of years ago. Hey, at least it’s fashion-y.
Anyone notice how much emphasis there is on the fashion aspect this season? Like they’re scrabbling to prove that ANTM really is in the same orbit as the actual fashion world?
I read somewhere that Miss Jay had gotten his panties in a twist b/c there’s been no emphasis on runway walking (his area of expertise) in the past few seasons. I must admit that perfecting one’s model walk by wearing a straightjacket is much more interesting than walking w/ a book on your head.
As long as every episode doesn’t involve some after-school special bullshit wherein we learn Yet Another Fascinating Fact About Aspergers.
Any ideas on the international destination? Rumors are afloatin’ that the chickies will be dispatched to this location. Personally, I think they’re going to Mr. Jay’s home country to learn just how it is one can achieve that particular shade of orange skin.
