Greenpeace also don’t want you to know that the logging companies plant 10 new trees (early growth, conservationist) for each tree they cut down. Cutting down ancient trees just isn’t a good economic way to go. Or that recycling paper is much more environmentally costly than harvesting cuts which are intended for the purpose of making paper.
I’m so old, I remember when Greenpeace was an activist group who cared about making sense: now, they are just so far off from logic and reason they are just an embarrassment.
So, wipe your ass as you please: if you want to do some good for the planet, take that extra $1 you’d spend on the scratchy bum paper and donate it to a charity trying to get clean water to the 1/5th of the population still drinking out of drains, or being massacred by malaria as we decided DDT shouldn’t be allowed to save their frickin’ lives.
