Okay, maybe in retrospect this isn’t ‘Funny Ha Ha’ - but I hate these people with such a passion, I have to laugh anyway.

Everybody should be allowed to express their opinions, no matter how distasteful the public finds the words. But with such rights goes responsibility. As much as I dislike their message, these asshole have the right to express themselves. But there is a time and a place for everything and society has a responsibility to insure that the right for group ‘a’ to speak does not infringe on group ‘b’s’ right for religious ritual or custom.

Ordinarily I would agree with you (given my former occupation, this is not suprising), however, these particular people were A.) invading the privacy of a grieving family laying to rest a fallen Marine, B.) doing so in order to spread a message of hatred and discord, and 3.) are not being prosecuted by the government, but rather by one of the families they wronged.

I hope they get taken to the cleaners.
