The worst thing about rap isn’t that it’s sexist, violent, or blah—it’s that it’s boring.

I would avoid painting with such broad strokes. Rap is a big world. There’s plenty out there that’s good, fresh, new, interesting, not boring at all, you just don’t have an ear for it, and you haven’t been looking. But anything derivative is bad, and certain aspects (the bitches aspect, for example) has been played out enough.

Homophobia, on the other hand, is never cool.
