What about the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the massive debts that have piled up from funding these disasters? What about the billions of dollars squandered on HOMELAND SECURITY, without a single significant improvement in the security of our nation?

Politicians use the buzz topics-abortion, unwed mothers, gay marriage, religion, etc-to polarize the voting public, without concern to the issues that matter most. Our political system has become one horrific joke.

Huckabee made the comments on conservative commentator Michael Medved’s radio show this week, after Portman accepted her golden trophy and in her speech thanked her fiance, Benjamin Millepied, for giving her “my most important role of my life.”

Medved led the way on the question, saying the “most wonderful gift” Millepied could have given the diminutive Black Swan star “would be a wedding ring!

Um, is it presumptuous of me to assume that Millepied has already presented her with a ring, seeing as he is her fiance, and that she will get another band at her, um, upcoming wedding?
