Ugh! Stop with the rings! Do you hold a mirror up to your ass crack? Do you shove a camera up there and take photos and study them? NO NO NO NO NO! No more butt ring talk! I ate dinner tonight and I don’t want to see it again.
Government and industry can play their part in reducing the trash stream by cutting back on unnecessary waste — especially packaging
Go ahead and hate him but this IS one of my big beefs. We regularly have to order computer mice and the fucking vendor sends them all to us in fucking individual plastic-and-cardboard blister packs. We then have to open each one to get at the one itty-bitty thing that we really needed. Just yesterday, we generated two bins worth of recyclables doing this. When the hell are manufacturers going to start giving AT LEAST the corporate customers the option of eco-packaging. Hell, it’ll cut down on shipping costs and storage requirements in addition to the package manufacturing and recycling energy requirements.
I’m going to go grumble in a corner now… don’t mind me…
What are you doing with those mice that you need to order so many?
I had to buy one of those damn blister pack openers because I got tired of cutting my hand every time I bought something. That is ridiculous. They are now putting all these cheapass items in blister packs. Stuff that NOBODY would steal.
We have a field sales force that we send peripherals to - we rarely get all the bits back. We have a bunch of labs and you should SEE the mice that come out of those. We also just hired 50 temp headcount that all needed mice. In about a month, our mouse consumption should return to normal levels.
