Can we say awesome?

A lot of people were saying we should root for the Saints because of everything New Orleans had been through, after Katrina. Though, I thought about it during the game, sure New Orleans went through a lot--an indescribable lot--but basically they have the French quarter, creole/cajun culture/food, bayous, crawdads, live oaks, Mardi Gras ... much to celebrate on a good day. When it IS a good day, that is.

People in Indianapolis live in Indianapolis EVERY DAY OF THEIR GOD FORSAKEN LIVES. Perhaps we should be rooting for them. I didn’t, but you know, just for the sake of argument.

It is not our fault those poor saps don’t have the testicular (or ovarian) fortitude to pack up and move to a civilized area of the world.

All I know is that I spent the better part of last week trying (and failing) to convince my boss that I needed to be in N.O. for a meeting today. Funny thing is, that meeting has been rescheduled for some reason they were kinda vague about.

I have never been to New Orleans myself, but I have been to Indianapolis. GO NEW ORLEANS!
