Ok, I get that Obama is charismatic as the devil himself and that he’s got the potential to do some really great things, especially after the bar has been lowered so much by the previous guy, but this is a little too much too soon in my opinion.

I wonder who he was competing against.

I also wonder if he kind of wishes they waited until next year, or the year after.

I pretty much agree with the Taliban on this one.

"We have seen no change in his strategy for peace. He has done nothing for peace in Afghanistan. He has not taken a single step for peace in Afghanistan or to make this country stable,” Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said.

“We condemn the institute’s awarding him the peace prize. We condemn this year’s peace prize as unjust.”

This wishful thinking based award may well do more harm than good.

They might as well have given it to Cirque du Soleil founder Guy Laliberte for the “poetical social” performance he’s doing at the International Space Station today… and for being the first person to wear a clown nose in space.
