Thanks to the $250,000 our votes won, there should hopefully be a new, less painful, significantly more effective antibody treatment in trials by the end of next year.

I wish I could tell you how great this news is for us. My nephew should qualify for the trial, and the antibody treatment that is currently being used is not only not as effective but entails intense, prolonged, excruciating pain (and not the kind you do for fun).

Seriously, thanks. It’s both an underused and overused word--I mean, maybe everybody should say it more often (to the postman, the people who do your laundry, people you work with, etc.), but in this case it doesn’t feel big enough.
