As the author notes, it is interesting that ostensibly Haggis, after 35 years, suddenly, when L.A. Scientolinators back Prop 8, sees the light and becomes conscious of all the “morally reprehensible” aspects of the organisation.  Clearly these issues had occurred to him before. Sometime. In the past 35 years. I wonder how many other Scientolo-followers have that nagging awareness of the foolishness of this crap they’ve been stewing their lives in but can’t quite face up to it due to the *investment* they’ve made. I’m betting LOTS.You think this would kick in some time, say when they break out the E-meter and start asking for six figure sums for example.
