Can’t find any web reference to my favorite S.S. song of all time:
The DeeJays across the country Say that the songs are just too long. So I set down and I wrote myself This 27 second song.
My grandmother was a grade school teacher. She detested The Giving Tree.
I got the message of altruism from the book, I guess, with a side order of guilt for sapping the very life out of my parents.
The bigger lesson came from my grandma… “That boy’s a damn psychopath, and that tree’s a pushover. They deserve what they got.”
