While I was a resident for only six or so months, I have to say I really, really loved New York (well, OK, the parts I saw of it). Compared with London (ick!), Paris (ick with a twist of fascist), Dullass, Edinburgh and most anything other than Amsterdam and San Francisco it’s a great place with (overall) great people.
Until they get to drive that is, at which point all bets are off.
