This is awesome. I hate self-help books. There’s something that comes to mind here also about the culture of victimhood but I can’t quite place it as to why.

I’m trying to get my self-help tome, “The Murdered Duchess Guide to Blowing All Your Money and Then Effectively Blaming It On Someone Else Using Your Wiles and Your Close Relative’s Severely Alcohol-Damaged Memories,” published.

Her unspoken answer seems to be: Either you didn’t find yourself, or you didn’t work hard enough. Either way, the problem was you.
