I have never worn clogs, and I choose the coffee I grind and drink (about 2 liters/day) by caffeine content, the higher the better.  And I think Jay tries too hard to be funny, when you have to spend more time explaining your jokes than you do telling them, you are not going to hold my attention.

I do watch the local news, albeit in the morning. And I know everybody on that show, and have strong opinions about all of them.

But I’m not big on resort wear, I’ve never heard of Chico’s, and I rarely if ever forward emails.

Archaic racial epithets, on the other hand ... (well if those kikes and pollacks weren’t so darn funny!)

Yeah, it’s a great recipe for instant fail. If the crowd doesn’t get the gag then 1/ move on like nothing happened and 2/ rework or rethink it to be you know, funny or something?

Oi, did my Mother trouble me with those: you couldn’t get Chinese Food, it had to be “Chinkies”, the local newsagent/convenience store was of course the “Pakis”.

But none of this was said in a hateful fashion: that’s just the way things have been and continue to be back in Bonnie Scotland. Where apparently persons of African descent are still a novelty.
