This seemed to be inevitable, as the two parties in the coalition have little in common at heart. Stupid, stupid politicians.

I disagree with the headline however.  Whilst the UK’s debt/deficit numbers compared to GDP are much worse than those of the US (i.e. the UK’s current circumstances are more dire than the U.S.), U.S. politics is far more messed up.  In the U.S. a group of imbecilic ideologue drones are causing the U.S. to perform an excruciatingly slow economic seppuku with immeasurable damage to world markets. There is a line between ignorance and insanity and these people are dry-humping it.

Ah, but the US has it much simpler: two parties, always at loggerheads, all soundbites and faux news. The UK, on the other hand, has the 3+ party system, an unholy alliance, etc. etc.

So the headline is more to reflect that aspect of messed up, rather than the US’s dry-humping palaver.

What totally confuses me is how the voting public enabled either one of these “Representative” shams.
