I used the subway in NYC six times over the weekend, and I got a seat (without squashing) FIVE times! And none of them were wet!
The sixth time was on the Lexington Ave line, on which one never ever ever gets a seat. Even at 3am.
Damn that green line. I can’t wait until 2089 when the Second Avenue subway is complete.
Heh. I was going to add a line about hoping my great-great-grandchildren enjoy the 2nd Ave subway, but it won’t be finished before we all get our Jetsons backpacks.
