I admit I can actually enjoy some total auto-tuning such as the twins Alejandra and Claudia Deheza do in this this song. But more an more, I am turning to minimalist/garage band sound. Most of them don’t have a lot of videos or even an online presence, except maybe on Myspace, and streaming college radio, like these guys.

I don’t blame it on Auto-Tune, because any technology can be exploited for the worse, but the warbly sound popular among the kids these days irritates. Still, I can see that it might be put to higher purpose.

A lot of the “popular” music these days seems to have the vocals run through a ProTools effect that totally gets on my moobs. By a lot, I mean most all, and while there is space on my moobs for a lot of stuff, my patience is like, over.
