02:16 PM | | Some combination of Auntie Mame from the movie Auntie Mame and Sammy Prescott (Laura Linney in You Can Count on Me). They don’t sound like the mesh, I realize. And it’s probably the latter, more than the former, as I get older.

02:42 PM | | Somewhere between Giselle from Enchanted and Kaylee from Firefly on most days.
On bad days when someone pushes my buttons, I have no idea who would best approximate me. I’ve never seen “Mommy Dearest” but I suspect I give off that sort of vibe.

Maybe just a dash

03:11 PM | | I’ll devote some more time to thinking about this, and I’d like to come up with something better, but for now I’m stuck with Mickey (Kevin Spacey’s character in Hurly Burly)

03:47 PM | | Buffalo Bill from Fright Night.

04:32 PM | | I haven’t seen Fright Night so I’m at a disadvantage in assessing those.
If I had to take a wild guess on Spazmo I’d go with Dr. Lawrence Jacoby from Twin Peaks

04:36 PM | | Okay I have one more for myself, perhaps more obvious but then also suitably obscure.
Laurence Thurmond, Esq. (John Heard’s character in the 1986 Miami Vice episode “One Way Ticket")

Kaylee I totally get. I haven’t seen Enchanted (er, obviously), looks quite frou frou girly girlish but I guess that’s why you say “Somehwere between”

04:43 PM | | FYI the Dr. Jacoby character in TP was inspired by ethnobotanist and shamanistic explorer Terence McKenna
\y’know so read into it what you will

04:47 PM | | Come to think of it, I’m sure between dimmer and myself, we could assign everyone here at FJ a Twin Peaks identity.

05:11 PM | | but I guess that’s why you say “Somehwere between”
only with better spelling

05:35 PM | | Okay I’ll also give myself a dash of Sick Boy (Jonny Lee Miller’s character in Trainspotting),
not for the heroin use but rather the inane platitudes and self absorption.
\Beautifully fucking illustrated by this very discussion

06:05 PM | | Posed the question to staff and two in unison said “Patrick Bateman” (Christian Bale’s character in American Psycho), “not for the looks, more the character” one added helpfully. I love that movie and I’m pretty sure they know that, so I don’t put too much stock in it. I mean I’m obviously not a psychopathic lunatic and don’t have absurd murderous fantasies.
\does have a penchant for Valentino suits
\\not for Oliver Peoples glasses
\\\Bateman has a much better haircut

09:21 PM | | Micheal Myers from the Halloween movies. Not because I am a serial killer, but because I keep coming back from the dead.

03:14 PM | | Some combination of Auntie Mame from the movie Auntie Mame and Sammy Prescott (Laura Linney in You Can Count on Me).
Someone as cool as Auntie Mame with the looks and body of Laura Linney would be a stellar combo. Rosalind Russell was gorgeous and looked amazing in Mame when she was 50ish. Laura Linney is just contemporary hot is all. I’d say milfy but I don’t think she has any children.

09:10 PM | | Luke Skywalker from Fright Night.

09:11 PM | | You know? I’ve never seen Twin Peaks. It’s actually on my Netflix.
But judging from the looks of that guy you’re spot on.

06:58 PM | | The characters in Twin Peaks are all awesome. And I found it highly amusing when I discovered that a young Russ Tamblyn (actor who played Jacoby) played Gideon in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.

07:12 PM | | It would be fun to have Fat Jerry Twin Peaks viewing schedule with episode discussion. I’m always up for another visit to Twin Peaks.
