Here’s the thing—the media narrative is that Obama’s only up by 5-7% in most recent polls, so Obama’s in trouble; if McCain were up 5-7% right now he’d be “running away with it”, and Obama would be in trouble.

Compared to the last two elections, he is crushing McCain.

I don’t think it’s so much “low class” as that the PC police want to think that if they don’t acknowledge it, it will eventually go away and they keep trying to shame us into thinking that a head-in-the-sand approach is superior to any other.

I’m really kind of hoping that some of the racists will notice their own prejudices and re-think them.

But, hell, the journalists are covering this like stock market analysts. “You posted solid profits but they weren’t as wildly high as our unrealistic expectations so your stock price is going down.”

Regardless of race, America is a pretty right-wing country now and FOX news has had a huge hand in that, I believe. A lot of people just aren’t going to vote democrat because “liberals are ruining America.” Don’t forget, the voting machine software (ES&S) is part owned by Chuck Hagel, and all they need is for McCain to get close to Obama, and they’ll be able to tip the win to the GOP.

Not sure how PC police are ignoring race, though. Racism (real, or fabricated) is their nemesis and fighting it is their raison d’etre (after racism come such rogues as date-rape and humor).

The corporate bigwigs in charge of the shit-hole I work at demand that Fox News be on in the cafeteria 24/7. The gophers sit there and soak it up like it is the word of God. I get coffee and head back to my area, gagging. I am awaiting a reprimand.

We’ve had a Democratic turn out throughout the country that was between 1.5 and 4x the Republican showing. Obama just needs to keep that up until election day.

53% of the populace don’t vote (not including those who can’t, as they are immigrants, whatever).

Close to 100% of the time, those who can vote, vote really badly. Why? Because they are idiots.

So here’s my plan: we vote as always, but whoever gets the LEAST number of votes wins! We get rid of the silly “I vote this way as that’s what my Daddy did!”, we get rid of the borderline psychotics who want a war with Iran (USA! USA!)
